About Me
I come from a background in AI data services, customer success and technical support, with hands-on experience in PII annotation, data quality auditing and GDPR compliance. I'm now channelling that experience into learning programming and exploring where data meets science. I don't have a computer science degree. I learn by doing, asking questions, and not pretending I know things I don't.
Creativity
I paint in gouache with a Studio Ghibli-inspired aesthetic, and I'm a classically trained musician: piano, accordion and vocal performance at the Music School of Pallini. My fantasy fiction explores deep worldbuilding and mythic storytelling.
Citizen Science
Active contributor to Folding@home (2,434,973 points, 139 work units, rank #257,836, Top 300K ranked donor) and Stall Catchers, analysing brain blood flow data for Alzheimer's research. These projects first drew me toward computational biology and neuroscience.
Privacy & Systems
Linux (Ubuntu) is my daily driver, and I'm comfortable with systemd services, networking, firewalls and package management. I'm a strong advocate for digital privacy: Tor, I2P via i2pd, Mullvad DNS over TLS, the Mullvad Browser and Monero through the Feather wallet.

- Mullvad DNS, encrypted DNS over TLS for query privacy, paired with the Mullvad Browser.
- Monero (XMR), the Feather wallet connected through I2P's SOCKS5 proxy for private transactions.

Where I'm Headed
I'm drawn to the intersection of data, biology and open science. Long-term, I want to contribute to tools and systems that help us understand the brain, decode genetic data or improve healthcare outcomes. I'm especially interested in connectomics, neuroimaging data analysis and machine learning applications in medicine. For now, I'm building a solid foundation one commit at a time and staying close to the citizen science communities that keep me motivated.
